| The entire design of the Oakland Museum Of California was mine, myself feeding the design to subordinates of Kevin Roche, who supplied two very capable persons who gave me no trouble, as I often had with architects wanting to do other than exactly what I told them to do. I ordered what the outside landscape was to be, supervising the installation of each plant personally. Very small compared to my usually vast landscaping projects, I kept this landscaping nice and tidy. |
