My Best Surprise I was walking along one early morning, checking on who was starting as I had instructed the night before. I heard a female voice calling "Bobby, Bobby". I looked that way, stopping- I saw a young woman waving to bring me to her. As I neared the open door of the car, I saw her and another woman, with a third between them. The third was naked from the waist down, something I had never seen at my young age of six. The younger woman told me to catch it-what was she talking about? I had not fully realized what she was talking about when something started to come out of her- A BABY!!! Now I knew!!! I put both my hands under her and caught the baby. A mess, but beautiful, as I think of all life. The young woman showed me how to breath that first breath into the baby- then I did it. The baby- Cry. Cry. Cry But, I was happy. All three woman had the biggest smiles I ever saw, then and now. They had considered me good luck and the mother had wanted me to breathe that first life into her baby. I went on to catch and breathe the first breath into 6 more babies, plus breathe the first breath 3 times- a total of 10. Every baby was wonderful to me.

El Lobo and Bobby Dias Where I live, Santa Maria, California is about 25-30% from south of the US or are descendents. Some that want to make money on the immigration issue say that Santa Maria, and surrounding area is all Mexican. At one point in the 1950s there was nobody from south of the US and no descendents. No Mexicans to work the hard work some now say whites did not want to do. It was the other way around- the Mexicans did not want to do that work- and today the Mexicans are the laziest I ever knew- except for their lying that they work hard doing. What did happen here was that me and a drug lord named El Lobo teamed together and brought in 1,000 workers in 7 weeks- from his home country of El Salvador, where men lived to be 20-22 years of age, according to a Life magazine article. El Lobo bought every man a new shirt, pants, shoes and new hat(most arrived without any original hat or shoes). El Lobo gave them 3 days food and a little pocket money. He paid the $40,000+ in bribes- I did not have any money. I had arranged for the local farm acreage to be tripled by making the conditions of new land leases. I created the jobs and ordered the dates for the crops to be planted, etc. I assigned teams to find housing and found farmers' wives to make sure every new man had a good start in his new home as far as cooking and such. None of the local stores sold tortillas- so I told the stores what to buy. A lot of work, but it was worth it. El Lobo and I saw those men stay alive well past the 20-22 years of age. Only one of the 1,000 left his job- ever. None of them ever got arrested- sure cannot say that about the Mexicans. And the 1,000- 90%+ were under 5 foot tall- they outworked every Mexican that came after them. El Salvador workers in Santa Maria= working together, including making each do there best to jet the job done. Mexican workers= stay silent when another Mexican screws up- so they can "be amigos". Today I can multiply 1000 x 50 years of life that El Lobo and I gave those from El Salvador. And I count the 50,000 man-years of honest, good life that these El Salvador people have given to Santa Maria.- so far. Good people live together a long, long time here.

Tricky Dick Weldon Many years ago Frank Silva and I went to Richard Weldon's office so he could sign the leases to lease his East Main properties to Betteravia Farms ( Bonipak ). Frank Silva signed one lease, for the west parcel of 75 acres. Then he signed the lease for the east parcel of 40 acres. The east parcel was for $17,000 a year and the west parcel was for $24,000 a year. Rember there were two leases. A few years later Frank Silva passed on, the lease stayed in force. Two days after his wife, Mary Silva, died, their only heir, Mabel Dias and I went to Richard Weldon's office where Mabel Dias asked Richard Weldon how much should she expect to receive from the rental of the parcels to Betteravia Farms ( Bonipak ). Richard Weldon put ONE lease in front of her and put his finger on it, pointing to the $17,000- the smaller east parcel. Tricky Dick Weldon never showed her the lease for the other parcel and never said anything about it to her. My mother was too upset about her mother's death(she was murdered by Wilma Hobbs, sister-in-law of then mayor of Santa Maria mayor George Hobbs(no wonder why the City of Santa Maria police would not arrest Wilma Hobbs)) to listen to me to explain that there were separate leases for the two parcels. Betteravia Farms, with Nazi Henri Ardantz and the Fascist Ferini brothers paid on only the one $17,000 a year lease from that day on, never on the larger parcel Henri Ardantz made a big deal about putting "an extra $3,000 dollars" in the next lease. They were stealing 58% of the total due from her- then they made themselves look like heroes(to some) by putting in a little 7% of what they had signed the leases for! Theft that started with Tricky Dick Weldon helping them steal from a elderly lady who was filled with grief because her mother had been murdered, something Richard Weldon knew of- Mabel Dias told him and Richard Weldon knew she trusted him. Who trusts him now?

A Victim of Hispanics' Racism 1. Bobby Dias passes written exam and oral board for employment with the Santa Maria-Bonita School district. 2. Bobby Dias receives notice to report on first day to fill employment forms like W-2, etc. 3. Bobby Dias arrives at said time and then is told by receptionist(hispanic) that I cannot have the job because she was trying for a hispanic worker and I have white skin. She says that hispanic organisations would get her fired if she gave the job to a white person. 1. Bobby Dias applies for custodian job at Santa Maria Joint Union High School, a petition signed by every custodian and maintenance man in the SMJUHS district recommending me for the position is in a file for me already. I pass the oral board as the only the only candidate for the job. 2. I am told to report to fill the employment forms. 3. I arrive to fill the forms, but the office worker (hispanic) says the job is for hispanic only and that I cannot have the job because my skin is white. The worker says that "other hispanic people" would give her "trouble" if she gave a white man the job. Every one of those that recommended me had darker skin than the racist clerk ! 1. I take the State of California test for Custodian Supervisor. I received 100% plus 5 points veterans' points for a total of 105, the best in the State of California(next best was 92.3) for 5 years, in my job classification. 2. I passed the oral board and received orders to report to fill paperwork. 3. The receptionist(hispanic) looks at me and says that I cannot have the job because I have white skin- the equal opportunity people had said the job was for a hispanic only. The State of California got their reward for racist hiring- a neighbor of mine that could not supervise his little kid and did not know the difference between wax and stripper to remove wax. Only 72.3% on the test. Dumb Al. Smart Racist- he knew when to say the word Amigo, but could not spell it! 1. I apply for a job with the City of Santa Maria as a meter reader. I pass the written test and the oral board, including the physical lifting test. 2. I receive the notice to fill out the forms. 3. I go and am told by the clerk(hispanic) that she pulled my name out of the hispanic file and that I cannot have the job because I am white and that she will pull out names from the hispanic files until she gets "a Latino"-her words. So it is racism how it came to be that all these hispanic workers we see everyday working for the City of Santa Maria are hispanic. The hispanic say it is because white people do not want the jobs. They lie- it is the City of Santa Maria's racism that gives those jobs to hispanic people. Good jobs, too- better paying than anything than I have had- and look at bobbydias.com to see a small part of the garbage I have had in my life. A Mexican can call on his racist amigos to get more- and then deny me a job because I am different than him and his amigos. A Mexican in Mexico doing that will get him killed if he does that to another Mexican. Being racist against American people is great to Mexicans.
Nick Ardantz- A Hero To Me A warm morning- I was watching 7 of the 1000 men that El Lobo and I had brought to the "big family" of those and their families brought here and set up in farming by my mother's father,Frank Silva. The 1000 from El Salvador were proving to be the best of workers- steady and they gave it their everything. But, Henri Ardantz and Milo Ferini, Jr were telling each other that these these 7 were Mexicans and that Mexicans did not deserve to live. Henri and Milo, Jr were only going by the color of their skin because that is what they had learned in Nazi Germany and Fascist Italy- hatred of those they considered inferior to Germans and Italians. Their idea that these "mexicans" were inferior to them was showing and became more serious as henri and Milo, Jr got their weapons(big sticks) and started towards the men from El Salvador. Here comes Nick Ardantz with his long stick- almost as long as his short size. Not really very short, but he looked like it carrying that stick- to Henri and Milo, Jr, beating the hell out of them until both were whimpering like little pups. For weeks after that, the arms of Henri and Milo, Jr ached. Often, I have thought that this Santa Maria hispanic person or that hispanic child or whoever would never had been born if Henri and Milo, Jr had killed those men( and maybe more). I have never wondered about this, because I know as fact- Nick Ardantz had saved those 7 men, dark skin and everthing else about them.
